On Friday April 25th, six managers of various dutch non-for-profit housing corporations visited similar organizations in Harlem. The working visit was prepared by NADC.

Visits were paid to the Abyssinian Development Corporation and the Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement. Affordable housing development, property management, social services and human capital development were topics of discussion.

Harlem experienced a noticeable revival during the last decade, partly because of the unbridled energy of these locally rooted Community Development Corporations. The visit took place in context of the Master of Real Estate Program of the Technical University of Eindhoven and the TIAS NIMBAS Business School.
