Over the past five years, Madrid has experienced an unprecedented real estate boom and robust economic growth. NEPROM, the Dutch association of real estate developers, invited 40 directors of its member organizations to visit Madrid to explore the Madrid models for its members. NADC provided them with a program that included visits to innovative and high profile projects highlighting pro-growth policies and redevelopment opportunities.

In 2004 NADC hosted a professional tour for Het Oosten, a Amsterdam based not for profit housing association and it's for profit development affiliate Kristal. Het Oosten/Kristal visited several New York based development firms and organizations. A variety of projects were on the program: Time Warner Center, Meatpacking District, Long Island City, DUMBO, Brooklyn and Jersey Waterfronts. NADC also hosted a one-day workshop with the developer of a adaptive re-use of 1 mln. SF warehouse building in Jersey City.
